Payroll Administrator _ $63,000 to $78,000 Annually (Base on Exp.)

What will you be doing?

• Processing payroll, commissions, T4s, WCB claims.

• Facilitating new hire orientation and assisting staff in signing up for pension and benefits

• Ensure payroll compliance by following provincial and federal legislation, regulations and policies

• Good working knowledge of Labor Standards

• Good understanding of accounting fundamentals

• Maintain confidential information by adhering to legal and ethical standards

What do you bring?

• Must have a car, (work location has no access to public transit)

• Five years experience in payroll processing

• A degree or diploma in an Accounting/Finance/Payroll discipline preferred, or equivalent experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Outlook and Excel.

• Knowledge of payroll programs and payroll contractual language

• Understanding of accounting fundamentals such as debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable and budgets

• Understanding of minimum wage laws, confidentiality policies, employee notification requirements, and other regulatory policies.
