We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in our hiring process. In this role, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand each role and its hiring requirements and lead full-cycle recruiting efforts across multiple global regions. Your primary responsibilities will include screening all incoming applicants, conducting initial phone interviews, and providing summarized candidate reports for hiring manager review.
This role also involves actively sourcing top talent across international markets through various networks and platforms to build strong candidate pipelines for current and future roles. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator, a keen evaluator of talent, and a strategic partner who ensures only the most qualified candidates are advanced for consideration.
This position reports to the Manager, Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with hiring managers to deeply understand each role, its requirements, and team needs
Maintain and regularly update a centralized repository of job descriptions, ensuring each one is accurate, clearly written, and aligned with evolving business goals and team needs.
Conduct Talent Alignment meetings with hiring managers at the start of each search to ensure clarity on role requirements, hiring strategy, and ideal candidate profiles.
Review and assess all incoming applications, filtering out unqualified candidates
Conduct structured initial phone screens to evaluate experience, motivation, and fit
Prepare and submit clear, concise summary reports after each screen for hiring manager review
Partner with hiring managers to determine which candidates should move forward to final interviews
Source passive candidates through platforms like LinkedIn, industry groups, alumni networks, and referrals
Maintain up-to-date and well-organized candidate records within BambooHR.
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Monitor and report on key recruiting metrics such as pipeline status, time-to-fill, and candidate conversion rates
Stay current on talent market trends and best practices to support continuous improvement in sourcing and hiring
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or sourcing roles
Proven experience conducting candidate screening interviews and making sound assessment judgments
Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes, especially in fast-paced or specialized industries
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build strong working relationships with hiring managers and team leads
Demonstrated ability to proactively source passive candidates through various channels
Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple roles and candidates simultaneously
Experience working with BambooHR or applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter)
Familiarity with employment laws, hiring best practices, and inclusive hiring strategies
