SALARY: Temporary Support, Payband G, $30.87 - $35.77 per hours (35 hours per week)

LOCATION: 230 Richmond Street

STATUS: Temporary Support

What responsibilities will you have in this role?

  • Assists with Talent Acquisition on key recruitment processes - job postings, collective agreement impacts to consider during job posting and during intake meetings with managers.
  • Coordinates LinkedIn Recruiter account and other recruitment sourcing tools while responding to applicant queries.
  • Coordinates, creates, and oversees job postings for positions in all areas (Admin, Faculty, Support Staff) on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), on internal job posting board(s), on external job boards.
  • Provides guidance around requisition management and general system navigation related the recruiting module.
  • Creates or updates application templates, interview guideline documents, offer letter templates, onboarding forms, tasks, and workflows, upon request.
  • Ensures postings are updated and maintained during required periods, monitored for duration, and closed to meet reporting requirements.
  • Ensures the ATS processes, workflows and forms are kept updated with any changes related to college policy and procedures.
  • Keeps up to date on any ATS enhancements and trainings, in collaboration and with guidance from Talent Solutions Consultant.
  • Updates and maintain Talent Acquisition templates, policies, and SOPs.
  • Creates and maintains custom reports, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, utilizing Student Information systems, HRIS and ATS as advised. (e.g., Internal status closed Reports, weekly Requisition Report etc.).
  • Assists in the compilation of recruitment data for Ministry reporting as required by the Labour Relations, Total Rewards, Management and Talent Team.
  • Responds candidates on their internal and external application receipt, onboarding issues, ATS issues and general inquiries across the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources inbox.
  • Creates end of probationary letter and calculate seniority date for Support Staff.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
What qualifications do you need for this role?
  • Three-year diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Human Resources.
  • CHRP designation is an asset.
  • Minimum three years' experience in client focused, results oriented, Human Resources environment with familiarity with Applicant Tracking System(s) /HRMS and word processing programs.
  • Familiarity with Cornerstone and Banner an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (strong Excel skills are needed) and a strong aptitude for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and conflict resolution skills; proven ability to think processes through and find creative solutions given limited resources.
  • Able to learn quickly and stay abreast of changes to policies and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills; experience dealing with complex issues; ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Proven ability to adapt with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions while dealing with conflicting demands and distractions; ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment in delivering excellent service to others as this is key in supporting the success of our students and our College.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, teamwork, and people skills.
  • Effective ability to interact with others and deal with situations in ways that respect diverse backgrounds, experience and styles.
  • Flexibility in adapting to change and in participating in consultative decision-making processes.
Hours of Work: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Interview process may consist of a practical skills component.
