Systems Administrator Real Time Charging

Your Responsibilities

As a Systems Administrator, you will collect requirements and develop code based on those requirements. You will also configure, deploy, test and upgrade the Real time Rating systems using modern methodologies like CI/CD. You will be required to plan and implement configuration changes at the OS and Application level. When issues arise, you will be the 2nd level of support to the 1st level Operations team. You will be responsible to dig into the root cause by investigating logs, debugging and quantify the full impact.

You will be empowered to drive changes to make your systems more reliable and maintainable and will provide expert insight during solution design. You will always think ahead and use your scripting capabilities to automate workflow and streamline processes. You will be responsible to manage and augment capacity as required. You will also create designs for new charging requirements and present to executive management on the best solution with time, cost and reliability in mind.

You will compare vendor systems to determine the best solution when implementing new systems, always keeping the customer in mind.

Some of your technical skills include:

Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or Electrical Engineering and 2 years experience in a related area.

Knowledge of RHEL/Unix Sys Admin

Understanding of telecommunication networks

Ability to learn E2E testing concepts including validating transaction based usage

Ability to solve technical issues quickly and independently

Solution Testing support E2E in lab environment

Prime Production Deployment changes to create MOPs

Create Ah-hoc KPI reports for the Charging platforms

Create and execute Platform ATPs and MOP\'s.

Knowledge of XML, SNMP, LDAP and SOAP protocols would be an asset
