Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview

Under the general direction of the Procurement Manager, the System Data Coordinator will be responsible for the maintaining and managing all aspects of the Master Records (Materials, Info Records, Contracts, Vendors etc.) within SAP Supply Chain Module.

The coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the documented processes, procedures and guidelines that have been developed to ensure all SAP Master Records are maintained in accordance with Master Data Management processes to ensure the data is the single source of truth for the WRHA Regional Supply Chain.

In addition, the incumbent will specifically be responsible for: * Participating as a team member of the Central Material Data Maintenance Team.

  • Participating in the development of documented processes and procedures related to material data maintenance, cleansing and sustainment.
  • Analyzing and interpreting information captured within the WRHA Contracting Supply Agreements, Contract Updates and supporting analysis, for creation, revision and deletion of Master Records.
  • Participating in the management of the WRHA Supply Chain general inbox.
  • Liaising between Contracting, Procurement, and Finance.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to continual improvement of processes and outcomes.
Experience
  • Minimum three (3) years\' experience in a Material Management, Purchasing or Contracting related position.
  • Minimum three (3) years\' experience using software applications including Microsoft Office, SAP and contracting/procurement systems.
  • Minimum three (3) years\' experience or training in a computerized Purchasing, Inventory and/or Contracting environment.
  • Experience in the healthcare environment an asset.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and methodologies.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards.
  • Degree, diploma or certificate in a related discipline (i.e. Business Administration, Computer Sciences, etc.) required.
  • Related purchasing/contracting and accounting courses are a definite asset.
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
