What you can expect:

As a System Administrator at Amilia, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining network computer systems so that as many features as possible can be added. In addition, you will train users to use systems correctly and safely. Our System Administrator must have a thorough knowledge of software and hardware as well as a variety of Internet applications, networks, and operating systems. We are looking for someone with excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. The goal is to build and maintain up-to-date and efficient computer and network systems to optimize the role of technology within our enterprise.

Our technologies:

Windows Server/Client, IIS, SQL Server, Exchange & Active Directory;

Microsoft MDT, WDS, WSUS, RDG, DFS, GPO, DNS, DHCP, ADCS, LAPS technologies;

Microsoft Office 365;

Windows PowerShell;

Cisco switches, Ubiquiti Wi-Fi;

Nutanix, KVM, Docker;

FortiNet environment (FortiGate/FortiClient/FortiMail);

Knowledge of the following technologies considered an asset: Ansible, Chocolatey, Ubuntu, HAProxy, ElasticSearch, Redis.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Designing, planning and executing system maintenance;
  • Documenting the elements of the network and services;
  • Administering servers, making backups and monitoring network security;
  • Administering network monitoring tools;
  • Acquiring computer and office hardware for employees;
  • Managing software licenses;
  • Managing software and SaaS service contracts;
  • Management of the ticket sorting system.
What we want from you:
  • College diploma (DEC) in computer science or equivalent;
  • 5 years of experience as a system administrator;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft licensing processes;
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Outstanding organization and time management;
  • In-depth understanding of various computer systems and networks;
  • Good knowledge of security principles and data confidentiality;
  • Bilingual (English & French)
