We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes with precision and attention to detail
Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar and kitchen area
Manage ingredient inventory, including ordering and stock rotation
Serve customers with professionalism, providing excellent food service experience
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency in quality
Assist in training junior staff or apprentices as needed
Requirements
Proven experience in sushi making, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices
Experience in serving customers and providing excellent food service
Familiarity with kitchen operations, meal preparation, and restaurant workflows
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of the principles of food safety and hygiene regulations
Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is highly preferred
Passion for Japanese cuisine and culinary excellence

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
