The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Quality Assurance Supervisor for our Quality Assurance Department! In this role, you will be ensuring the quality of our products and packaging meet the highest of standards across the department. The Quality Assurance Supervisor develops and maintains QA programs and guide the QA team on daily operations. They ensure products conform to specifications, quality standards set by QA and regulatory Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, in-process and release.
In this role you will:

  • Work Sunday to Thursday 6:00 pm - 2:30 am
  • Support in maintaining all QA programs such as calibration, self-inspection, environmental monitoring, deviation trends, data collection/analysis and associated record keeping
  • Support daily quality inspection operations such as work order reviews, release, archiving, in-process quality resolutions, investigations, and deviation reviews
  • Provide guidance to inspectors and follow up on investigations and corrective actions to support compliance and service excellence
  • Facilitate job-specific training for new and existing inspection staff
  • Manage staff schedule, timesheets, evaluate performance and escalate people concerns in a timely manner
  • Coordinate reworks, mock recall, traceability exercises, and recall activities as needed
You have:
  • Completion of a Science Degree or relevant Technical Diploma
  • Minimum five years of QA experience in a pharmaceutical, natural health, food product manufacturing environment preferred
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Experience with MS Word, MS Access, data entry
