Job Description

Meadowview Pet Resort is a premiere pet boarding facility located in Thorold, ON. We are central to Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Fonthill & Welland. In addition to boarding, we also offer dog daycare and grooming services.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Supervisor / Kennel Attendant to join our team.

KENNEL ATTENDANT RESPONSIBILITIES

Feeding and preparing meals for both boarding and daycare guests Handling animals of various temperaments, breed and species daily Supervising activity times (ex. country walk, group play, etc.) and bathroom breaks outside Communicate with Supervisor/Manager about the animals under your care General cleaning duties as assigned (including but not limited to: cleaning up accidents, tidying rooms, cleaning up play yards, deep cleaning rooms from departed guests, etc.) Completing care records for boarding guests Assisting front desk with arriving and departing guests (ex. organizing belongings, bringing out pets, etc.) Other duties as needed

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide guidance and direction to kennel and daycare attendants Coordinate with Management to set standards of performance Act as a liaison between Management and Kennel Attendants Assist and support Kennel Attendants with daily care of animals in our care Oversee and distribute medications Create daily layouts for Kennel Attendants Address and resolve client concerns and inquiries Attend and participate in regular Management meetings Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email or our direct message system General reception duties as needed (ex. checking in guests, invoicing departing guests, performing tours)

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Experience handling various breeds and species of animals (does not necessarily need to be employment experience) Experience supervising in an employment setting Customer service experience Able to efficiently operate a computer and other office equipement Be able to work both indoors and outdoors in ALL weather conditions Have reliable transportation to and from our facility (we are not on any public transportation routes) Have flexibility with working hours (we care for animals 7 days/week, 365 days/year)

WORKING HOURS

This position may be required to work up to 5 days per week with shifts scheduled anytime from 7AM-9PM. This position will be 35-40 hours per week.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
