Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a

qualified and experienced Kennel Attendant

to join our team. This role involves working closely with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments in a kennel environment. Duties include cleaning and maintaining kennels, feeding and caring for the animals, and ensuring their safety, health, and comfort. This is a physically demanding position that requires dedication, reliability, and a true passion for animal care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide daily care for dogs of all breeds and sizes Clean and sanitize kennels, outdoor yards, food and water bowls, and other equipment Monitor the behavior and health of animals and report any concerns Administer basic medications and follow feeding instructions Ensure a clean, safe, and positive environment for all animals Assist with dog handling for grooming, veterinary visits, and client pickups/drop-offs Maintain cleanliness and order in all areas of the facility

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a kennel, animal shelter, dog daycare is REQUIRED.

Comfortable and confident handling dogs of all sizes, including strong or reactive breeds Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks, including walking, bending, lifting, and cleaning Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to work weekends and holidays if needed Positive attitude and a genuine love for working with animals Valid references from prior animal care employment (will be verified)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 40 per week
