Position Overview
We are seeking an
Early Childhood Voice & Piano Supervisor
to take the lead in teaching and overseeing our dynamic early years program. This hybrid teaching/supervisory role includes both hands-on instruction and program leadership, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of music education for our youngest learners.
You'll not only teach classes for children ages newborn to 6, but also train and supervise new ECE music teachers, ensuring the quality and consistency of our beloved program. You'll provide mentorship, give feedback, and help maintain a nurturing, energetic, and educational experience for every child and every team member.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching (Hands-On Role)
Lead group music classes for Toddlers (ages 0-2) and Young Musicians (ages 4-6)
Teach voice and introductory piano skills with confidence and musicality
Use our fun, structured curriculum with your own creative flair
Sing, play piano (and ideally ukulele/guitar), and engage children through movement and music theory games
Prepare thoroughly for each lesson and contribute to seasonal recitals
Candidate needs to be an animated performer! Ready to entertain children and keep them engaged.
Supervisory & Leadership Duties
Oversee and support early childhood music instructors across multiple classes
Attend and observe select classes to ensure program excellence
Onboard, train, and mentor new early childhood teachers
Provide feedback, encouragement, and guidance to team members
Collaborate with studio directors to continuously improve the program
What You Bring
Strong singing voice, piano skills and experience leading musical activities for children
Basic ukulele or guitar proficiency is a major bonus
Solid understanding of music theory and early music education strategies
Experience working with young children in a musical or classroom setting
Warm, energetic, and confident classroom presence
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A passion for both teaching and mentoring fellow educators
Additional, non-mandatory skills:
Training in early childhood education, Orff, Kodaly, or Dalcroze methods
Background in musical theatre or children's performance
Experience supervising or mentoring music or early childhood educators
