Position: Accounts Payable and Receivable Supervisor
Location: Ville St-Laurent (hybrid: 3 days at the office)
Salary: $70K (based on experience)

Our client with over 40 years in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Supervisor to lead the Accounts Payable and Receivables teams.

You will be part of a dynamic work environment with a strong team spirit, overseeing all accounting operations within the Accounts Payable and Receivable cycles.

Main Requirements:

- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Minimum 4 years experience within AR and AP
- Prepared to be involved with the more granular tasks when required
- English proficiency as majority of suppliers/customers are based in Ontario

Main Responsibilities:

- Manages accounts payable/receivable/collections operations
- Monitors unit performance in relation to established standards and strategies
- Provides oral and written performance reports to Controller
- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Establishes unit staff assignments and special projects
- Maintains quality control to ensure that accounting transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- Manages efforts for succession planning, employee development, performance assessment, and performance improvements
- Plans as they relate to maintenance of strong employee teams and/or individual contributors
- Assures alignment within continuous improvements within the unit and division strategic plans
