Job Description

As a Senior Behavior Therapist at our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinic, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive behavioral interventions for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. You will lead the implementation of behavior management plans, supervise behavior technicians, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to optimize client outcomes. This position requires advanced knowledge of ABA principles, strong leadership skills, and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with special needs.

Responsibilities:



Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on functional behavior assessments and ABA principles. Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients, targeting skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and functional communication. Supervise and train behavior technicians, providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and support to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and fidelity of implementation. Conduct regular observations and assessments to monitor client progress, adjust treatment strategies as needed, and maintain accurate data collection. Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other members of the clinical team to develop comprehensive treatment goals and strategies for clients. Act as a liaison between the clinic and clients' families, providing education, support, and guidance on behavior management techniques and ABA principles. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and clinical supervision sessions to review client progress, discuss treatment strategies, and ensure continuity of care. Stay current on the latest research and best practices in ABA therapy, participating in professional development activities and pursuing opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, special education, or a related field. Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred. Experience providing ABA therapy services to individuals with ASD and/or other developmental disabilities. Proficiency in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs), developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and implementing evidence-based ABA interventions. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively train, coach, and mentor behavior technicians. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines in behavior analysis practice. Familiarity with electronic data collection systems and technology used in ABA therapy practice. Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate client needs.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
