Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Supervised Senior ABA Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor (part-time) in Ottawa, ON.

This position is home-based, working with families of children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental challenges. This position focuses on providing initial training to Instructor Therapists (ITs) during the first few sessions with new clients, and then continuing with ongoing supervision and support to ensure treatment plans are implemented effectively.

Responsibilities

Provide initial in-home training sessions for ITs during client start-up. Conduct ongoing supervision of ITs, including performance monitoring and feedback. Collect and review session data; provide clinical recommendations as needed. Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency and skill generalization. Maintain supervision notes and progress documentation. Stay updated with evidence-based ABA practices.

Compensation

$65-$80 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience) Prep rate: $45/hour (1 hour per client per month)

Requirements

Ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is required. Currently completing or have completed a Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, or related field (working toward RBA or BCBA strongly preferred). Minimum 3-5 years of ABA therapy experience required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong supervision, training, and clinical decision-making skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Passion for supporting children and families through high-quality ABA.
