Surrey / Lower Mainland (On-site at our studio or candidate's own studio):
We are looking for a
versatile Studio Sound Engineer / Producer
with expertise inLogic Pro
to help with recording and producing original music. The ideal candidate is passionate about music across multiple genres, has hands-on experience with recording software, and is excited to explore differentacoustic and cultural soundscapes
.Responsibilities:
Assist a musician with
recording, editing, and producing
music inLogic Pro
. Help withstudio setup, mic placement, and session preparation
. Provide technical guidance onnavigating Logic Pro and plugins
. Mix and master tracks for professional release. Experiment with different sounds, tones, and cross-cultural styles. Collaborate on creative direction and arrangements. Work either at your studio or travel to our studio as needed.Requirements:
Proven experience as a
Sound Engineer / Producer
with a strong portfolio. Advanced knowledge ofLogic Pro
(required). Comfortable working across multiple genres (classical, world, fusion, contemporary, etc.). Strong understanding of acoustics, recording techniques, and sound design. Ability to troubleshoot technical challenges quickly. Must be collaborative, creative, and open-minded.Nice to Have:
Experience in world music, Indian classical, or fusion projects. Familiarity with orchestral libraries, virtual instruments, and live instrument recording. Ability to suggest new creative approaches to enhance the music.
