Do you light up when kids discover the magic of music? We're looking for creative, passionate music teachers to join our

After-School Program

team starting

September 2025

at On the Off Beat Music School.

We're not your typical music school. We're musicians first--actively performing, writing, and gigging--and we've taught at nearly every major music school in the city. We know firsthand what it's like to be in your shoes, and we've built the kind of supportive, creative environment we always wanted to work in.

The Role:

You'll lead group classes that are fun, energetic, and packed with musical discovery. Some examples of classes include:

Glee Club
Musical Theatre
Ukulele
Taylor Swift Song Study
Singing & Songwriting

You'll also:

Guide small groups of young musicians in a structured, encouraging space Walk students safely from local schools to our studio Work weekday shifts from

3:10-6:00 PM

Earn

$105 per class

Bonus Opportunity:

Want more hours? There's also the option to teach

private lessons between 6:00-9:00 PM

We're Looking for Someone Who:

? Has experience teaching kids (especially ages 6-11)
? Brings a background in music performance, education--or both
? Is high-energy, dependable, and great with groups
? Can manage a classroom with positivity and structure
? Is comfortable walking students from school to our studio

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:

Teaching: 4 years (preferred)
