The Art Department is South Delta's creative hub -- an 1,800 sq ft studio offering classes and workshops in ceramics, mixed media, painting, drawing, jewelry-making, and more. We're a community-minded space that encourages creativity at every level, from total beginners to lifelong artists.
About the Role
We are looking for a Studio Coordinator who thrives on organization, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. You'll play a key behind-the-scenes role in helping our busy art studio run smoothly -- from scheduling and communications to studio upkeep and event prep. You'll work closely with the Studio Director to manage the day-to-day flow of classes, workshops, memberships, marketing and administration, instructors and community programs.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily operations of the studio (cleaning, restocking and managing supplies)
Manage customer emails, class sign-ups, and our tracking systems
Assist with scheduling, instructor coordination, and membership management
Assist with classes, workshops and private party bookings as needed
Help prepare and maintain class materials, tools, and studio spaces
Coordinating details of private parties and events and liaising with clients, local partners, schools, and community organizations.
Assist with marketing, social media, newsletters, and event promotion
Provide friendly, informed customer service -- in person and online
Other administrative tasks as assigned

A genuine interest in the arts, education, or community spaces
Experience with managing and updating website content considered an asset.
Availability for a mix of weekday and evening/weekend shifts
