Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support and guidance to prospective students and clients with their Post secondary College and University admissions, and visa applications. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to supervise and mentor others, and a commitment to fostering a positive and safe environment for clients. The ideal candidate will provide expert advice, help clients choose suitable study programs, and ensure smooth visa processing.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students regarding study options, university/college selection, admission processes, and visa application requirements. Provide accurate and up-to-date information about various immigration pathways and policies. Handle inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins, offering personalized guidance. Follow up with students and clients to ensure timely submission of documents and application completion. Work closely with the admissions and case processing team to facilitate smooth application processing. Maintain records of student cases and update CRM with application status. Participate in seminars, education fairs, and promotional activities to attract potential clients.

Requirements

Experience:

Minimum

1-2 years

of experience as a counsellor in immigration consultancy or education counselling.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in any field is preferred.

Skills

knowledge of student admissions, visa application processes, and immigration policies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple clients and work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using CRM tools and basic computer applications.
