As a Strategy Manager / Senior Strategy Manager what you\'ll be doing?

TELUS Health Strategy team is responsible for working collaboratively with each customer facing business unit (CFBU) and business unit (BU) to drive our corporate strategy, business planning, business unit strategy, and large scale strategic initiatives that evolve the health care portfolio.

We are currently hiring 1 Strategy Manager and 2 Senior Strategy Managers. As a Strategy Manager / Senior Strategy Manager, reporting to the Head of Strategy, you will be a critical cross-functional change agent, working closely with both internal team members and external partners to shape the future of digital and physical health.

We\'re looking to have a dynamic Strategy Manager / Senior Strategy Manager to join the Strategy team. Here\'s a sneak peek at the exciting things you will be doing:

  • You will be thinking creatively and strategically while solving ambiguous problems; have perseverance to work through new and unknown problem areas, and projects
  • You will be interpreting the long term direction of the company and building roadmaps, skilled in gap analysis and identifying and articulating the streams of activity to move the company directionally
  • You will be applying a growth-oriented mindset to your work and professional development, by seeking out continuous learning and improvement opportunities, embracing new ideas and perspectives
  • You will be leveraging data to drive strategic planning and develop compelling, insight-informed narratives that frame key strategic decisions (e.g. expand into new offerings, enter new markets, consolidate and rationalize products)
  • You will be \xe2\x80\x9cintrapreneurial\xe2\x80\x9d with the ability to spot new opportunities, connect dots across TELUS, TELUS Health, TELUS International (and any others), make and leverage connections across the organization, and take initiative to push the boundaries of what TELUS Health can be
  • You will be conducting research and information gathering, learning new tools and adapting your approach, able to synthesize information and turn it into meaningful insights without boiling the ocean
  • You will be managing day-to-day project responsibilities (stakeholder management, project management, meet deadlines, and communicate updates); while also anticipating future needs
Qualifications

You should have this experience:
  • 3-7 years of experiences developing strategy and market intelligence, preferably with consulting experiences, healthcare, or corporate wellness organization
  • Health experience is an asset, but not a requirement
  • A degree and/or work experience in business, psychology, behavioral economics, entrepreneurship, consulting, research, or liberal arts
  • Strong business acumen and experience in communicating at the executive level
  • Financial literacy and numerical proficiency
  • Understand how to construct arguments using quantitative and qualitative data, and create structure in what may initially seem ambiguous
  • Able to communicate easily through Google Docs (memos), Slides (PowerPoint), and Sheets (Excel)
