As ATB's next Manager, Strategy & Insights, you'll provide research, analysis, and insights in order to drive performance improvements and strategy development to ensure return on investment and achievement of our Strategic Pillars.

Responsibilities:

• Provides and translates market and client research/insights into business strategies; helps oversee execution
• Frames insights into actionable analytic storylines, reports, and dashboards for varied audiences
• Develops robust methodologies, tools, and approaches to data collection, analysis and reporting, potentially incl. through use of ML, AI, and sophisticated modeling
• Maintains expertise across relevant industry areas
• Monitors and digests relevant public and proprietary information sources
• Ensures accuracy of data and deliverables used by organization stakeholders

Requirements

• A university degree with a focus in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or Engineering
• Familiarity with the internal metrics vital to measuring financial institution performance
• Demonstrated proficiency handling complex data sets to uncover trends, exceptions, & other key insights
• Hands-on experience building reporting, data visualizations, and dashboards using tools like Data Studio, Looker, and/or Tableau
• Strong research abilities; able to quickly locate relevant and reputable sources to determine industry trends and other opportunities/challenges for ATB & our clients
• Ability to combine quantitative and qualitative analysis and research findings into digestible briefs, engaging presentations, and actionable insights for diverse audiences
• Intermediate understanding of the practices and processes involved with project and stakeholder management
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong personal accountability demonstrated by your commitment to producing consistently excellent results and your ability to incorporate feedback into future work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling
• Effective prioritization skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision under deadline pressure while managing multiple assignments in a matrix environment
