Role and Responsibilities

The Strategy & Performance Manager for Civil Aviation manages the annual strategic planning process for Civil, leads select strategic initiatives and optimizes the broader Civil performance management process. With strong stakeholder relationships, this role ensures business alignment across the different Civil segments and collaborates closely with Marketing to support strategic decision making for the Civil\xe2\x80\x99s Executive Leadership.

This role requires a strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, analytics, and enterprise planning. The successful candidate must maintain and have a strong bird\xe2\x80\x99s eye view of the entire business unit.

Strategy & Strategic Planning

Develop and build cases for strategic initiatives that support Civil Aviation\xe2\x80\x99s vision & goals.

Lead and present the annual 5-year strategic plan to executive leadership.

Continuously improve upon the annual strategic planning process and calendar.

Lead the Enterprise Risk Management processes for Civil Aviation while maintaining a long-term outlook.

Represent Civil Aviation on the Enterprise Crisis Management Committee

Facilitate regional and business units in the development of strategic plans with strategic insights, approaches and ensure alignment with overall civil strategy, based on internal and market analytics

Gather and analyze large amounts of information; develop compelling and insightful strategic recommendations for leadership

Support various strategic internal projects including M&A actions with strategic evaluation & analyses

Performance Management

Lead and present Civil Aviation Executive Reporting for monthly business reviews, quarterly investor activities and Board of Directors requirements

Coordinate and lead all tasks in support of Group President\xe2\x80\x99s critical business activities and governance

Build relationships with BU, Sales and BD leaders, M&A team, customer and industry partners

Work closely with Finance business partner to ensure precision performance of overall investment portfolio.

Requirements

University degree in relevant field. Masters preferred.

6-10 years of experience involving strategic analysis, planning and governance.

Strong analytical, financial and business acumen

Capable of distilling complex problems into concise and compelling summaries for executive decision making

Strong communication skills, specifically with executive management.

Talent for building relationships and alignment across a variety of stakeholders and organization levels.

Proactive and takes full accountability

Work well under pressure and work with a sense of urgency
