Leader Name: Vice President, P&C Consulting

As ATB\'s next Strategy Analyst, you will play a key role in the P&C Consulting team. Within this role, you will create value through data, insights, reporting, and program management of core P&C Annual initiatives. Your creativity in storytelling through data will enable leaders and P&C team members to drive the right work and areas of focus forward. Your curiosity for organization and driving productivity will be a key enabler to your success in this role. This role requires a skillset to deliver on the following accountabilities:

  • Strategic analysis and insights: Identifying opportunities through data analysis and discussions with executive leadership, and providing recommendations. Develop these recommendations into action plans tied to Operating and People Plans.
  • Support P&C initiatives by creating program roadmaps for the annual P&C \'calendar of activities\' as well as the People Plans designed for each area of business within the organization
  • Analyzing data and engaging in high-level discussions with executive leadership to identify opportunities.
  • Offering strategic recommendations to consulting leads and senior executives.
  • These recommendations may lead to discussions or the development of action plans aligned with operational, personnel, business, and 2030 strategic initiatives.
  • Responsible for proactively monitoring trends, keeping a pulse on internal and external environmental trends
  • Collect data from various sources such as surveys, team member records and industry benchmarks as well as internal data owners to analyze and interpret data related to various aspects of human resources, including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement
  • Utilize tools and techniques to analyze the data and derive meaningful insights
  • Understanding the domain area (i.e. technology vs. capital markets) to prepare reports and presentations on behalf of the Consulting team, summarizing findings, including recommendations for action
  • Involved in developing and implementing programs and initiatives based on analysis and recommendation
  • Responsible for monthly reports and presentations related to P&C metrics
  • Represents the Consulting team and acts as a decision maker on project teams within and outside of business unit, and works with partners across the enterprise to validate, review, and ensure we are advancing priority work effort
  • Serves as a core information conduit across project teams
  • Support projects in maintaining project schedule, budget, work plan, KPIs, documentation and other metrics
  • Ensures timely delivery of reports/analysis and proactively communicates any barriers
  • Assists with daily administrative and operational needs including but not limited to calendar management, google drive management, budget monitoring
Requirements:
  • A university degree with a focus in human resources, business administration, statistics, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in human resources analysis, including data collection, analysis and reporting
  • Metrics reporting and visualization capabilities
  • Understanding of the practices and processes involved with project and stakeholder management
  • Strong personal accountability demonstrated by your commitment to producing consistently excellent results with the ability to incorporate feedback into future work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Effective prioritization skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision under deadline pressure while managing multiple assignments in a matrix environment
  • Strong skills in Google Sheets or Excel considered an asset
