Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) has an exciting opportunity for a Lexus Planning & Strategy Analyst to join our Lexus team. This is a 12-month contract/acting opportunity that reports to the Manager, Lexus Planning & Strategy. The successful candidate will provide key research to help shape Lexus Planning & Strategy and support clear communication of Lexus activities internally within TCI and externally to the Dealer network. The chosen candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development of Lexus sales strategy and providing insights gained through detailed competitive sales analysis, competitive program tracking, Lexus supply analysis and buyer behavior studies.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll be Doing:
Core Responsibilities
Develop KPI to support incentive program proposals, create LDA payment calculations, generate incentive program grid, propose and budget Lexus Team Target
Analyze luxury industry sales including Polk Weekly Report, Regional Sales Tracker, competitor studies
Provide insights into Lexus market share, regional performance, market strengths and opportunities
Monthly analysis of competitive programs and resulting payments as well as tactical marketing approach
Monthly & ad hoc studies of purchase behavior of Lexus and competitor buyers to better understand luxury market
Ensure strong communication and coordination between Lexus departments for all areas of responsibility
Liaise with other TCI departments including Product Planning (PPD), Sales & Inventory Planning (SIP) and Toyota Incentive Team to ensure alignment
Support development of background data and presentation content for use with Dealers, LCT, Executive Forums and Lexus global visitors
Frequent research and analysis of time sensitive topics on an ad hoc basis
Supporting Responsibilities
Internal and external month end sales reporting, Dealer bulletins, Infostream publishing
Coordinate Lexus demos going on/off road, sale to dealers; ensure smooth model year transition
Prepare and distribute weekly Dealer Communication
Update Lexus Infostream modules to ensure accurate, up-to-date information is available to Dealers
Assistance to Lexus field staff as needed
Other duties as requested or required
What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Bring:
University degree or College diploma in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline
1-2 years of related work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Strong attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven time management and organizational skills
Ability to initiate & improve work processes to increase efficiencies
