Job summary

The Fill Crew Associate has a key role in ensuring that products are transported from the warehouse to the sales floor in an efficient manner. This role involves constant handling of merchandise that varies in weight from light to heavy throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

Stock shelves and merchandise display areas neatly and safely. Ensure inventory accuracy, and identify and report low stock levels. Ensure that product and overstock is placed in the appropriate locations. Report stolen and damaged goods to Management. Assist in organizing warehouse as needed. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner in person and over the phone. Engage in product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to achieve targets and maintain a positive work atmosphere. Ensure that retail tasks are executed efficiently (e.g., stocking, labels, facing, clean area etc.) Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is an asset. Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and team members effectively. Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, weekends and holidays) Approachable and highly customer-oriented Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching Strong computer skills Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make decisions Ability to operate a cash register (asset)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.90-$20.24 per hour
