Job Summary

Reporting to the Technical Product Owner \xe2\x80\x93 Biopharma and Provider Solutions (BPS) the Senior Technical Product Analyst, Patient Support Program Applications will be responsible for the successful documentation and implementation of business-defined product features within our Biopharma and Provider Solutions Applications. You will leverage your deep technical and domain knowledge to effectively collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on solution design, then translate those business requirements into technical ones. Once a solution approach is chosen, this role is responsible for guiding offshore development team members in their implementation of the solution. This takes the form of technical documentation (User Stories, UI/UX Diagrams, wireframes/mock-ups, etc.), hands-on mentoring, and participation in an Agile SDLC.

This role is vital in ensuring that business opportunities are realized effectively in our custom software solutions and is the key link between our business, PMO and technology teams.

While this role is an individual contributor (non-management), there is a great deal of leadership and professionalism required to engage and guide a wide array of business and technology stakeholders. As such, strong written and verbal communication skills are critical to the role. You must be able to get information across effectively to audiences of differing technical capabilities with different backgrounds.

While initially this role will focus on areas of a candidate\xe2\x80\x99s strength and experience, there is great opportunity to learn new domains within BPS and take a role in leading the evolution of those associated applications.

Section A - Responsibilities

Act as a general subject matter expert providing consultation and guidance to business and technology teams.

Work with business partners to design and document effective software solutions.

Translate business requirements and change requests into user stories in Jira.

Support and guide members of an offshore development team, helping them understand the business domain and best practices within bespoke applications.

Validate user stories, ensuring features are developed correctly from a feature accuracy standpoint.

Support data transition and feature design activities by performing data mapping and creating ad-hoc documents to support design decisions.

Champion the ongoing definition and oversight of Privacy and Compliance best practices with internal and offshore team members.

Participate in definition and evolution of SDLC best practices.

Section B - Position Requirements

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or College Diploma in Computer Science or related field.

3+ years designing technology solutions within the specialty health space, particularly Patient Support Program Operations.

5+ years working within the Canadian Health Care Domain.

3+ years working in a large corporate enterprise technology environment.

Data modelling experience and moderate SQL skills.

Proven UI/UX design skills.

Strong written and verbal communicator.

Broad understanding of modern and legacy technology solution approaches.

Able to express ideas clearly and concisely in appropriate media (ppt, visio, word, excel, etc)

Knowledge of current IT Privacy, Compliance, and Information Security concerns.

Can apply an adaptable and creative mindset to solution and workflow approaches to achieve desired results.

Strong business value focus.

Experience working in an Agile work environment, with exposure to Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

Experience working with Agile project management tools, preferably Confluence and Jira.

Experience providing services for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers.

A strong understanding of the Canadian Health Care Regulatory Landscape.

Experience working with an offshore Managed Service Provider.

Cloud Platform experience (Azure preferred).

Experience with applications running in a Citrix / Virtualized environment.

Experience with Telephony Systems, especially five9.

Six Sigma Belt(s) earned.

Knowledge of Pharmacy Operations, ideally specializing in Specialty Drug Dispensing.

Knowledge of Infusion/Injection Clinic Operations.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$82,800 - $138,000
