Job Description

Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced Senior Tax Consultant for a Global Company located in Grimsby. This role is an 18 month contract, finishing in January 2025, and will be onsite in Grimsby 1 day a week. Your Responsibilities

Prepare corporate income tax returns, working with the various accounting departments to ensure accurate submissions of the requisite supporting documents with a clear audit trail.

Coordinate the transfer pricing reporting process, reviewing submissions to ensure complete and accurate reporting, preparing the Canadian tax schedules and transfer pricing reports, and updating intercompany agreements.

Contribute to the audit process, overseeing the sourcing of requested documentation from various departments, and preparing detailed responses to auditors.

Review and/or prepare the tax provision entries and forecasts for current and deferred taxes.

Research and document tax issues.

Prepare a variety of other regulatory reports and remittances.

Participate in project work to support system changes, business needs and process improvements with a focus on automation.

What skills you need

Over 2years of accounting or finance experience including work in large corporations.

Possess the financial acumen to assimilate information, identify issues, and develop and implement solutions.

Strong Excel skills

Exceptional organizational skills

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including business writing and presentation skills.

Professional accounting designation required (CA, CMA, CGA or CPA), or Global ACCA, FCCA
