Motion Recruitment is looking for a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join one of our main clients who is software company that provides services to companies in the airline industry. For this role, you will solve exciting technical challenges by analyzing, troubleshooting, and designing vital services, platforms, and infrastructure. The ideal candidates that we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for would have great experience in systems administration/engineering and is an expert working with Azure and Windows infrastructure.

**This would be a hybrid-remote full-time or Contract role in Montreal, Quebec, Canada**

Requirements and Qualifications

• 6+ years of systems admin/engineering experience working with Windows, Linux, Azure, and VMware infrastructures
• Experience using Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Linux RedHat 6/7/8, CentOS
• Proven experience Applying Microsoft windows patches and windows clustering
• Familiar with scripting languages such as PowerShell and/or VBScript
• Experience using Active Directory and Domain controllers
• VEEAM Backup software, Disaster Recovery planning and deployment
• Knowledge of Service Now change management

• Understanding of storage interactions with servers.
• knowledge and hands-on experience supporting VXRAIL, Fiber Channel & ISCSI networks.
• Dell Data Domain
• Linux OS understanding

• Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of the production services
• Ensure that services are designed and delivered to be mission critical with a focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance.
• Create more consistent, automated push button environments across all tiers
• Proactively test and tune all aspects of the infrastructure
• Monitor and respond to system notifications and alerts
• Continually work to optimize and improve the performance, security, and reliability of our systems.
