Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Sr. Systems Administrator on a permanent basis.

Our Infrastructure and Operations team is looking for a problem solver who is comfortable working in complex server environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and administration of CRC datacenter servers, storage systems, and related components. This work is critical to our business achieving high performance of a variety of business applications. This position is a hybrid opportunity based in Regina, SK. Members of this team are currently coming into the office as needed.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Create or update provisioning procedures for existing storage systems, vmware environments, backup systems, Windows Servers, Active Directory, VDI, and Email Systems.
• Provide support to service desk and application teams for the server, storage and applications.
• Create and modify patch-management procedures on server and storage platforms. This will include execution of both firmware and software updates and complex changes on existing platforms.
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization to meet service level agreements.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of the backup and disaster recovery system and procedures.
• Work as a team to provide 24/7 response to urgent situations regarding the data server farm.
• Other duties as required.

You will report to the Server and Storage Manager on a team that includes two other Sr. Systems Administrators. This small but mighty group also works closely with a variety of business units, external vendors, and contractors. Members of the team value a willingness to ask questions and admit mistakes. Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Information Technology and:

• Have a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Have a minimum of 6 - 9 years of relevant experience in information technology. Experience in server and storage administration is required.
• Are familiar with MCSE/MCSA or VCP/VCAP certifications (considered an asset).
