Job Description

Sr Program/Project Control Officer (Security) to support the Security Program (Security Governance, MFA enhancements, PAM, SIEM, BCP and DR) in all program and project activities and deliverables.

Contract: 12 months (+ 12 month extension)

Location: North York hybrid (predominately remote with some onsite requirements)

Hours: 37.5 per week

Role:

• Support the Security Program in all program and project activities and deliverables. These initiatives include:
• Implementing Security governance and Management, Identity and Access management (MFA enhancements),
• PAM [Cyberark], SIEM, Business Continuity planning,
• Disaster Recovery Planning.
• May also be required to support in a PCO capacity for:
• iOT related projects, Network Access,
• Infrastructure and Network Build and Deploy (Windows servers, Windows End-User devices, Firewalls, Load balancers),
• Mobile Build and Deploy.

• 5+ years\' experience as a Project Controller (PCO), Project Coordinator or Project Management Associate within IT Security environment.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in supporting Security Program Governance and delivery.
• 5+ years\' of relevant experience on information technology and IT Security vendor management.
• Strong understanding and experience of project management concepts and Cyber Security concepts along with methodologies such as NIST, SABSA.
• Working knowledge of Security Governance Frameworks such as NERC, FISMA, SOC2, ISO 27XXX and GDPR.
• Experience with managing total financials on a program, project, or portfolio larger than $3MM.
• Excel and PowerPoint (Macros, Pivots, VLOOKUP).

• Relevant experience with IT security projects or programs.
• Experience with IT operationalization of new technology.
• Experience with projects in public sector and/or unionized environments.
• ITIL certification.
• PMI or equivalent certification.
