Sr. Communications & Change Management Manager to support Enterprise-wide Climate Risk Transformation project for our large banking client - 60255

Location: Downtown Toronto (hybrid - 2-3x/week)

Duration: 12 months (possibility of extension)

The bank is seeking a Communications & Change Management Manager on an enterprise-wide transformational program for Climate Risk. The manager will be responsible for developing and delivering the plan for communications, change management, and training required to support the program\'s objectives. We are looking for a candidate with strong communications skills who understands change management methodology and has experience developing effective training materials. As a specialist, your primary focus will be to explain the narrative underlying the program and help employees understand how the program outcomes should be integrated within their day-to-day duties.

Must Have Skills:

  • 8+ years of change management experience
  • Experience acting as a change manager for and enterprise-wide risk or regulatory initiative
  • Experience developing and delivering communications for an enterprise-wide change
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and experience presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional conversations, and collaborating with and influencing stakeholders at various levels of the organization
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous experience in the banking industry
  • Certification in Change Management methodology
  • Familiarity with Project Management approaches and tools
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop a communications, change management, and training plan for the program based on an assessment of the program\'s objectives.
  • Lead the Communications & Change Management Workstream within the program integrating work on communications, change management, and training within program delivery.
  • Liaise with subject matter experts to create compelling communications content and training materials to support program outcomes.
  • Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the changes impacting employees.
  • Drive actionable and targeted communications, change management, and training activities - including stakeholder assessments, leadership alignment, change metrics, and readiness assessment, and on-going measures for sustainment of program objectives.
  • Be an active and visible coach to leaders who are change sponsors.
  • Identify risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address.
