Position Overview

In your role as Sr PM, reporting to the Lead Product Manager, you will manage strategy, roadmap, and detailed product definition for our flagship social product. Your remit is rooted in product discovery; help us determine what features to build, areas to invest in, and then distilling problem spaces into requirements. This means you\'ll partner with back and front-end technical teams, Design counterparts, game studios, and partners across our organization, to bring your product vision for this space to market.

You\'re someone with a track record for:

Problem identification and solutioning. You have experience understanding user needs and can align a group of teammates to define holistic solutions in a systematic way.

Collaborating. You have an ability to partner, collaborate, and engage technical partners to achieve outcome-based success that you\'ve helped define.

Adapting. You have experience with quality, and determine the best approach based on player feedback, data, the competitive landscape, and peer collaboration. You identify challenges and adjust as you go.

Creating. You have experience leading product definition, prioritization, and guiding the delivery of technically complex product plans.

Technical Literacy. You can collaborate with a very technical team and summarize the technical goals for the team.

You also bring the following skills or experiences to our team:

  • You have managed technically complex products and teams in the past.
  • Have demonstrated the ability to do competitive analysis, data analysis, and other discovery methods to identify areas to invest in
  • Track record for building agreement across a large group of different teams and partners
  • Understanding of working in a central-team capacity
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in the study of Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or applicable Product Management experience.
  • Familiar with the gaming industry and current entertainment platforms, or experience working with consumer-facing social products.
  • A passion and ability to define goals and metrics for products, outcomes and growth in your area of focus.
  • Experience leading a team and presenting to executive leadership to build understanding and advocacy for the roadmap.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management
In a typical week, the Sr. PM could...
  • Translate strategic directives into goals and important results. Monitor and lead strategy around achieving results through the definition of associated goals.
  • Partner with analytics to establish an experimentation roadmap, using A/B testing to meet goals and create product and player insight. Translate outcomes into relevant recommendations.
  • Work with game studios to understand their needs and lead collaboration sessions to determine solutions.
  • Develop the product roadmap with a holistic view of the evolving game market and identify new opportunities.
  • Manage projects through product discovery and delivery while collaborating with Design, Engineering and EA wide technical partners.
