Reporting to the Mine General Superintendent.

What you will do:

• Professionally carry out duties following Nutrien safety principles and priorities
• Support all aspects of site safety systems, including the OHC, and SIF
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Company Policies and Procedures, laws and regulations
• Directly supervise Mine Maintenance Planning, Scheduling and Administrative personnel
• Actively promote and engage in continuous improvement of Mine Maintenance Planning processes
• Be responsible for developing, analyzing, and interpreting Mine Maintenance metrics and providing recommendations to Senior Mine Leadership for continuous improvement
• Be responsible for efficient planning and prioritized scheduling of all Mine Maintenance activities to meet the needs of the mine
• Participate in the development and implementation of an asset maintenance strategy that safely achieves production demand while maintaining or reducing maintenance costs
• Respond to scheduled and unscheduled callouts to ensure normal business operation related to their area of responsibility

What you will bring:

• Journeyperson or a technical designation
• 5+ years in a progressive maintenance planner, scheduler, coordinator, or supervisory role would be an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent technical knowledge of maintenance, planning, and asset management
• Good understanding of mining operations
• Ability to create and work within a high performing team
