What you will do
The BSNA Commercial Application Delivery Lead is part of a dynamic global team with a responsibility to deliver enterprise-scale commercial capabilities supporting the JCI HVAC, Fire, Security, and Building Controls businesses. The position offers a successful candidate the opportunity to contribute to JCI's digital transformation, strengthen commercial capabilities, and enhance customer experience.
How you will do it
Provide technical leadership and innovation in support of developing commercial capability and application technology strategic advancement roadmaps
Plan application delivery activities including creation of resource, duration, and cost estimates
Complete application design, build, test, and deploy activities on-time, within budget, and with high quality
Lead and manage technical delivery resources to fulfill commitments
Lead technical reviews, peer reviews, and feedback cycles
Mitigate technical risks and resolve technical issues associated with application delivery
Prepare work and resource plans for each phase of an application delivery project
Ensure all the right technical teams have been involved in the end-to-end delivery cycle
Communicate with stakeholders to manage scope of applications
Drive continuous improvement of deliverables to meet Definition of Done (DoD)
Ensure application knowledge transfer to IT operations support teams
Foster a culture of technical discipline, craftsmanship and innovation
Manage team performance metrics in the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool (Jira)
Leverage waterfall, hybrid, and Agile methodologies as required to deliver applications
Drive continuous improvement and accountability amongst team members
Manage resolution of interpersonal conflicts and issues to keep team focused on delivery to objectives
Support management of the requirements backlog and foster focus on highest priorities
What we look for
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant business field
Experience defining and delivering enterprise-scalable applications
Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), lead management, campaign management, account management, opportunity management, Configure Price Quote (CPQ) processes, e-Commerce, subscription management, data management and analytics, and sales incentive compensation processes
Experience with sales enablement technologies (examples: Salesforce CRM and Oracle CPQ)
Experience in systems integration technologies (example: Salesforce MuleSoft)
Experience managing application development teams using established software development lifecycle methodologies (waterfall, hybrid, and Agile)
Passion for transforming businesses through technology
Proven ability to rapidly learn new technologies
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
