Overview:.. This hands-on role involves financial statement preparation, reconciliations, coordination with external auditors, and investment reporting. Ideal for candidates with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and judgment in financial reporting. This position offers a collaborative and supportive work environment.
xefxbbxbfResponsibilities:
xc2xb7 Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, financial schedules, and quarterly/year-end reporting packages.
xc2xb7 Oversee external audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP or Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS).
xc2xb7 Assist in quarterly financial statements and regulatory reporting.
xc2xb7 Manage investment reporting, including analysis, categorization, and judgment on fair market value classifications.
xc2xb7 Maintain and update financial records using existing models.
xc2xb7 Collaborate internally to ensure accurate and timely fiscal reporting.
Qualifications:
xc2xb7 CPA Designation is highly preferred.
xc2xb7 5+ years experience in accounting/financial reporting, in complex or nonprofit environment.
xc2xb7 Strong knowledge of and experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, or Public Sector Accounting Standards
xc2xb7 Excellent Excel proficiency.
xc2xb7 Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
