Position Title: Sr. Financial Analyst - NA Integrated Supply Chain Position Type: Regular - Full-Time Position Location: Toronto HQ Requisition ID:26366 The Sr. Financial Analyst, NA ISC Finance plays a critical role in driving accountability for the NA Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Finance function. This role is responsible for understanding and assisting in execution of several ISC processes including variance reporting, variance month-end close analysis, and cost budgets/estimates that help drive forward looking cost-driven decisions for the North America region. The Sr. Financial Analyst will also play a key role in assisting in execution and coordination of the annual standard cost budgeting process, quarterly standard updates, and intercompany pricing discussions. This position is responsible for analyzing and understanding m onthly/quarterly results vs. appropriate benchmarks and working closely with NA FP&A and Business Unit Finance teams as well as NA Plant Operations Finance teams to help provide explanations to cost variance drivers and forecasts. Finally, this individual will assist the ISC Finance Manager in owning the analysis behind the data that is used to drive and facilitate the formation of sound business plans and strategies for cost management. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct month-end variance reporting, quarterly forecasting of overall cost and variances, as well as prepare ad-hoc analysis as requested.
  • Coordinate monthly variance forecasts and present findings to senior finance leadership.
  • Analyze and understand the financials associated with variances; PPV (commodity purchase price), logistics, operations, etc.
  • Work cross-functionally with different individuals within NA finance to complete certain projects/tasks and to better understand driving factors of results.
  • Assist in executing and driving other ISC processes including quarterly standard cost updates, intercompany pricing updates, and the annual standard cost budgeting process.
  • Build cost bridges that display the drivers of the change in costs between two points in time.
  • Suggest opportunities for continually improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial process and help to drive structure around cost reporting.
  • Thought partner to the ISC Finance Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • CPA designation (preferred)
  • Undergraduate degree in business, economics or accounting
  • Minimum 3+ Years\' experience in finance, supply chain or related field.
  • Deep interest in finance, cost management, budgeting and reporting
Skills & Competencies :
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Systems and Excel skills (Access Databases, Queries, Pivot tables, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Demonstrates time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • High analytical and scientific aptitude
Education / Experience:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial planning, accounting, and/or supply chain is required.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in the field of Accounting, Finance or Supply Chain.
  • Strong technology skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience working with tight deadlines and demonstrated responsibility for accuracy and timeliness for work performed.
  • Must be a self-starter with ability to manage responsibilities proactively.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be able to convey information to management in a clear, focused, and concise manner.
  • Experience with other food manufacturing companies strongly preferred.
