Robert Half Management Resources is the worldwide leader in specialized consulting and staffing services for senior-level accounting, finance, and business systems professionals.Our Ottawa area client is currently looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join their team.This is a 6-month engagement with a possibility of further extension offering a Hybrid work model (3 days a week in office).The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for:-Assist in the preparation of Quarterly operations review and analyze performance to identify KPI-Preparation of all key financial metrics and analysis performed-Assist in annual budget process and any forecasting-Update and maintain the long-term plan financial models and rolling forecasts.-Assist with the preparation of monthly cost centre actual versus budget/forecast report and expense analysis-Monthly accruals and reforecasting-Collecting all required SOX documentation support for budget and planning cycle-Support FP& A team with adhoc reports and projects as requiredThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:-A Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or other field of study with a minimum 5 years experience in a similar role-CPA designation or similar qualification-Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills-Experienced in Financial Modelling-Strong communication and interpersonal skills-A self starterRobert Half is the world\'s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
