Real Estate Coordinator

Overview:

Do you have an interest in Real Estate and are looking for an opportunity to develop your skillset with the largest Canadian Retailer? Then come join our dynamic Real Estate team at Loblaw Companies Head Office (1 Presidents Choice Circle) as a Real Estate Coordinator where everyday there are new opportunities and learning challenges that lie ahead! The incumbent will report directly to the Senior Manager of Real Estate.

Duties:

  • The Capital Meeting process is integral to Loblaw Real Estate and your role will include: establishing list of attendees and liaison with individual project team members to ensure deliverables are achieved in the required time frame. Flag and report any issues hindering the progress of a particular project or deliverable, pilot the capital meeting, and follow-up on all Capital Approved project signoffs.
  • Monitor and maintain all real estate project milestones and workflow to implement the annual Capital Plan, strategic opportunities and joint projects between Loblaw Real Estate, Shopper\xe2\x80\x99s Drugmart and Choice REIT
  • The ability to produce cohesive PowerPoint presentations that capture the Real Estate initiative.
  • Creation and management of Excel charts, Databases (Tango), and SharePoint to assist and improve the operational processes of the Real Estate team
  • Coordinates and organizes general administrative support for the Real Estate Team \xe2\x80\x93 data entry, travel bookings, filing, meeting support
  • Successfully collaborates and partners with Real Estate team members, internal business partners and Sr. Executives
  • Record and organize the distribution of meeting minutes
Skills and Experience:
  • Post secondary education equivalent to a university degree
  • Leading edge skills in PowerPoint and Excel with ability to create executive level presentation decks that describe the real estate project, including developing a variety of charts.
  • Able to work with diverse personalities and styles. Communicates with clarity both written & verbal, in one on one or group situations, over the phone or through email.
  • Highly organized with keen eye for attention to detail. Project management experience optional but would be an asset
