We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Camp Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a fun, safe, and educational environment. As a Camp Leader, you will be responsible for leading activities, providing guidance, and ensuring that all campers have an enriching experience. This role is perfect for individuals with a background in early childhood education or tutoring who are eager to make a positive impact on young lives.

Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of all campers during activities and throughout the camp day. Foster a positive environment by encouraging teamwork, cooperation, and respect among campers. Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members regarding daily activities and camper progress. Provide support and guidance to campers in both educational and recreational settings. Monitor camper behavior and address any issues promptly to maintain a harmonious camp atmosphere.

Requirements

Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting is preferred. Background in early childhood education or tutoring is desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage children effectively. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership skills. A passion for educating children and fostering their personal growth through various activities. Must be able to pass background checks as required by camp policies.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
