Afin de compléter notre équipe eFPGASIM, nous recherchons un candidat avec de l’expérience en contrôle et/ou modélisation de machine électrique, d’électronique de puissance. Une connaissance de la technologie FPGA est un atout. Nous privilégions les candidats qui démontrent des aptitudes de leadership technique et de travail d’équipe.
Principales responsabilités :
Dans un environnement de travail dynamique inspiré des méthodes Agile/Scrum, le candidat sera amené à participer à toutes les activités reliées à la conception d’outils logiciels et micrologiciels contribuant à l’innovation technologique des solveurs basés sur la technologie FPGA. Ces solveurs sont destinés aux applications de contrôle et de simulation de moteur électrique et d’électronique de puissance (saisie des exigences, développement d’architecture innovante de solveurs et d’algorithmes de contrôle, développement et maintenance de la librairie de modèle, activités de tests et validation), avec une emphase sur le développement, la maintenance et le support d’une librairie de modules de simulation avancés pour puce FPGA.
Le candidat agira en tant que spécialiste de modélisation auprès de l’équipe de développement et aura les responsabilités suivantes :

• 
  
• Recherche de solutions innovantes pour la modélisation de machine électrique et/ou de convertisseur d’électronique de puissance sur FPGA.
• Saisi des exigences utilisateur (JIRA/Confluence).
• Développement de cœurs de calcul sur FPGA (Matlab/Simulink).
• Participation à l’intégration des modèles dans le produit avec une emphase sur la validation.

• Support client avancé.

Exigences :

• 
  
• Scolarité : Maîtrise ou Doctorat en génie électrique, électrotechnique ou informatique.
• Expérience : 2ans d’expérience en recherche dans les domaines contrôle/commande et/ou modélisation de système d’électronique de puissance et/ou de machine électrique.
• Connaissances requises : MATLAB/Simulink.
• Autres compétences (atouts) : Développement logiciel, Technologie FPGA, Xilinx system Generator, Java, Git, Python, Jenkins, Jira/Confluence.
• Connaissances linguistiques : Bonne maîtrise de l’anglais ou du français (la maîtrise des deux langues est un atout).

Achievements and stimulating challenges:
In order to complete our eFPGASIM team, we are looking for a candidate with Power electronics experience, in control and / or modeling of electrical machines. To demonstrate technical leadership and teamwork skills will make the difference and having an experience with FPGA technology is an asset.
Main Duties:
In a dynamic work environment inspired by Agile / Scrum methods, the candidate will be required to participate in all activities related to the conception of software and firmware tools contributing to the technological innovation of solvers based on FPGA technology. These solvers are intended for control and simulation applications of electric motors and power electronics (input of requirements, development of innovative architecture of solvers and control algorithms, development and maintenance of the model library, tests and validation activities), with an emphasis on the development, maintenance and support of a library of advanced simulation modules for FPGA chip.
The candidate will act as a Modeling Specialist with the development team and will have the following responsibilities:

• Research of innovative solutions for modeling an electrical machine and / or power electronics converter on FPGA.
• Enter user requirements (JIRA / Confluence).
• Development of compute cores on FPGA (Matlab / Simulink).
• Participation in the integration of models in the product with an emphasis on validation.

• Advanced customer support.

Requirements:
Education: Master’s degree or Ph.D in electrical, electrotechnical or computer engineering. Experience: 2 years of research experience in the fields of control / command and / or modeling of power electronics system and / or electric machine. Required knowledge: MATLAB / Simulink. Significant assets: Software development, FPGA technology, Xilinx system Generator, Java, Git, Python, Jenkins, Jira / Confluence. Language abilities: Fluent in English or French (proficiency in both languages is an asset). Required skills: Autonomy, versatility, curiosity, organization, good interpersonal communication, discipline and determination, analytical skills and adaptability.
