Responsibilities:
Processing customer payments (checks, wire transfers, credit cards).
Accurately matching payments to outstanding invoices.
Resolving discrepancies and payment issues.
Rigorous updating of accounting records.
Collaboration with the accounts receivable team to maintain healthy cash flow.
Analysis, review, and creation of processes to improve the efficiency and performance of payment application functions.
Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies, including computerized and artificial intelligence (AI) tools, to automate and optimize payment processing.
Develop and update process and procedure documentation to ensure compliance and consistency of operations.
Training team members on new processes and tools to ensure a smooth transition and effective adoption.
Requirements:
1+ years of experience in a similar role
College degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field.
Bilingual in English and French - Will be interacting daily with clients throughout all provinces in Canada
Background in Administration, data entry, IT, an asset.
