Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, Tandoori(naans/rumali roti) cooking, and restaurant management, along with the ability to inspire and manage a team. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met while creating innovative menus that reflect our commitment to excellence in hospitality.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency in presentation and flavor. Develop and design creative menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs. Manage food inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food handling practices. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and best practices. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and restaurant operations. Extensive knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and food safety regulations. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and guests. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
