Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in the management of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation. This role requires a passion for the food industry, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to food safety and quality. The Sous Chef will work closely with the executive Chef to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and seasonal offerings. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain health and safety standards. Help manage kitchen schedules, ensuring adequate staffing during peak hours. Engage with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Experience

Proven experience as a sous chef or in a similar role within the food industry is required. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment. Previous leadership experience in a restaurant management setting is preferred. Familiarity with bartending is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
