We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining food safety standards. Duties



Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development, ensuring creativity and seasonal relevance. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation, to maintain high standards of quality. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Participate in special events and catering as needed, showcasing culinary skills and creativity.

Experience



Proven experience in food preparation and service within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising kitchen staff. Background in restaurant management or team management is highly desirable. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
