The Solution Architect is responsible for planning, analyzing, designing, and documenting enterprise applications and integrations. They work with business and technical stakeholders to identify and build comprehensive technical solutions for business problems. The candidate will manage communication of the solutions and designs to various audiences. They will continually contribute to the management of solutions roadmap to make sure advances in technologies are leveraged and best practices are aligned to.
Key Responsibilities:

• Champion a structured approach to business application solution design from a technical perspective
• Lead the technical design for the D365 application and interfacing systems with a focus on business engagement and documentation – essentially defining the D365 architecture and technology framework
• Lead the design process for technology solutions aligned with the technology strategy and standards, ensuring solutions are scalable and agile
• Implement solutions that leverage system configuration when possible, and extend on existing functionality when needed
• Collaborate with senior management to establish the technology roadmap and vision for the technical platforms
• Lead the planning efforts for release management based on inputs from the functional leads and various areas of the business
• Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish scope, system objectives, and requirements for technical solutions
• Working closely with functional leads to complete technical designs that meet the needs of various key stakeholders at all levels in the organization
• Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
• Work with technology partners to collaboratively set standards for software development process around D365 and associated technologies
• Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources, and scope related to development activities
• Resolve technical problems as they arise and proving Tier-3 support as needed
• Work closely with project management teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives
• Produce architecture and design artifacts in accordance with established standards such as UML diagrams, database architecture diagrams, table design, application specifications and application architecture diagrams.
• Work closely with other IT management personnel in identifying, evaluating, selecting, and implementing specific information technologies that support the Corporate and IT strategies
• Development duties as required

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field
• Eight or more years experience in IT roles, including 5+ years in solution design/architecture
• 5+ years working in Dynamics D365 Finance & Operations as a developer
• Led technical design function for multiple ERP/MRP projects including at least two of the following areas: Finance (GL, AR, AP), Procurement (Procure to Pay process), Warehouse, Logistics, MRP, PLM, HR, document management, collaboration tools, Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse & Data Lakes
• Advanced Design and Development experience on Azure using services like Function Apps, Logic Apps, ADF, Synapse, Azure SQL, ASB etc.
• Experience with Power Apps and Web Apps
• Experience with identity management, authentication, and authorization
• Integration Architecture, implement messaging layers & message brokers, design and develop REST APIs, web services/microservices.
• Experience in tools, technology & framework: REST/SOAP, AzureDevOps, C#, X++, Web/Mobil Development Stacks like JavaScript, React, AngularJS, Ionic etc.
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM project approach
