Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Social & Recreational Experience Guide to lead and facilitate a variety of activities designed to enhance community engagement and participant enjoyment. This role involves creating memorable experiences through organized events, interactive sessions, and recreational programs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for fostering inclusive environments that promote social interaction and personal growth.

Duties



Facilitate social and recreational activities under our various program umbrellas (Adult, Community & Care, Media & Arts, and Rural programs). Create and fiercly defend safe spaces for social exploration and relationship building. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing participant needs and ensuring a positive experience. Document interactions, growth, safety or other pertinent member information. Communicate clearly with participants, team members, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of all activities. Use public speaking skills to introduce activities, give instructions, and motivate participants. Lead by example in fostering an inclusive environment that welcomes individuals of all backgrounds. Assist in developing new activity ideas based on participant feedback and current trends. Support the training of new team members to uphold program standards.

Qualifications



Must be 18+ to work with us A valid Class 5 Alberta driver's licence with a clean driving record would be considered an asset. Preference is given to those with 3 years of uninterrupted vehicle insurance and no at-fault accidents. Valid Class 5 Alberta driver's licence with a clean record Clean Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Intervention Record Check.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 32 per week
