JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Full Time (30-40hours per week) Room Experience Guide to join our team immediately, with continued employment throughout the winter season.

The Room Experience Guide is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all accommodations, restrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all areas of the property, including guest rooms, common areas, and outdoor sites, are kept clean, sanitary, and welcoming. The role also includes assisting with laundry operations and supporting efficient housekeeping activities. The individual in this position will work closely with the rest of the housekeeping team to provide excellent service to guests and maintain high standards of cleanliness across the resort.

JOB DUTIES

Cleaning & Maintenance of Accommodations

:

All cleaning activities associated with accommodation units including:

Garbage and recyclables removal Removal and replenishment of linens and terry Remake beds with fresh linens Dusting of all surfaces Cleaning of al hard surfaces Vacuuming Hard surface cleaning
Cleaning the bathroom including:

Hard surface cleaning Shining mirrors, fixtures and glass Replenishing all supplies as directed Completing work orders for all things in disrepair

Common Area Cleaning

:

Maintain the cleanliness of all restrooms, common dishwashing stations, BBQ areas, and other public spaces within the resort. Regularly check and empty garbage bins, including those in high-traffic areas and pet waste stations. Perform light cleaning tasks in shared areas like hallways, decks, and recreation spaces (e.g., horseshoe pit, outdoor seating areas).

Outdoor Area Maintenance

:

Assist with maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of outdoor spaces, including keeping walkways and seating areas free of debris.

Laundry Operations

:

Load and unload washing machines and dryers Fold linens and terry as directed Follow protocols for stain treatment and discards Use of all laundry tracking forms as required Organize the laundry area and ensure linens are restocked and available for housekeeping needs. Support the preparation of the housekeeping cart, ensuring it is stocked with cleaning supplies, linens, and other necessary items for daily operations.

Team Support & Efficiency

:

Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain cleanliness across all resort areas. Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard of cleanliness. Help maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, reporting any shortages or needs to the Housekeeping Executive.

Safety and Compliance

:

Follow safety protocols for cleaning, including proper handling of cleaning products, equipment, and waste materials. Ensure that cleaning practices comply with health and safety standards, providing a hygienic and safe environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

Experience in a similar role preferably in a resort, hotel, or hospitality setting is desired

Physical Requirement

Working Conditions

Flexible work days, including weekends, and holidays. Outdoor work in various weather conditions, particularly during peak seasons. Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, requiring proper handling and safety precautions.
