Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Social Media Manager to join our nonprofit client for the next 2+ months, working 3-4 days/week in their downtown office. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing our client\xe2\x80\x99s social media strategy, creating engaging content, and building a strong online community. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze and report on social media performance.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand goals and objectives.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our strategy remains current and effective.
Create, curate, and manage engaging content for all social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to produce high-quality content that resonates with our client\xe2\x80\x99s audience.
Write compelling and on-brand copy for social media posts, ensuring consistency in voice and tone.
Build and nurture a strong online community by engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering meaningful conversations.
Monitor social media channels for customer feedback, inquiries, and potential issues, and address them promptly and professionally.
Track and analyze social media performance metrics to measure the success of campaigns and initiatives.
Prepare regular reports on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Use data to inform future social media strategies and content creation.
Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid advertising, to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, PR, and creative, to ensure cohesive and integrated campaign efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management or a similar role.
Proven track record of creating successful social media campaigns and growing online communities.
Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools.
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and a creative flair.
Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
