Our brand voice is modern, science-savvy, and community-driven. We're growing fast--and looking for a full-time Social Media & Personal Assistant to support our marketing and day-to-day operations.
Position Overview
This full-time role is ideal for someone who is equally creative and organized. You'll be the driving force behind our social media and marketing materials while also supporting our lead optometrist with administrative and personal tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to contribute to a modern healthcare business with personality.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Content Creation (Primary Focus):
Plan, create, and schedule social media content (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
Write compelling, on-brand captions and content that align with our tone and values
Design marketing materials for both print and digital use (brochures, product sheets, in-office signage)
Assist in planning and executing local campaigns, seasonal promotions, and community events
Create and manage email blasts and newsletters
Elevate our existing marketing strategy with fresh ideas and data-backed improvements
Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, image generators, scheduling software) to optimize content creation and workflow
Administrative & Personal Assistant Support:
Support our lead optometrist with scheduling, task organization, inbox and calendar management
Run local errands and manage occasional personal assistant duties
Assist with planning internal team events, office celebrations, and promotional efforts
Collaborate with the team to ensure marketing materials and brand messaging are cohesive and effective
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or administrative support
Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, or other graphic and video tools
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., weave) is preferred
Familiarity with AI content tools and scheduling software is strongly preferred
Strong writing and editing skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
Bonus: Previous experience in healthcare, optometry, or a customer-facing business
