The Canadian Brewhouse opened its first restaurant in 2001, in Edmonton, Alberta. By adding awesome talent to our team, serious dedication and persistence, and keeping the guest in mind, we\xe2\x80\x99ve grown to 44 Canadian Brewhouses, 1 Canadian Icehouse, 5 Banquet Bars (second restaurant concept), 5 Ribeye Butcher Shops and 40 Plantlife Cannabis dispensaries. We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator, Retail who will be responsible for keeping an eye on trends, staying on top of our competition, and creating a social media strategy for the Ribeye Butcher Shop, Plantlife and Tesoro brands. We are looking for the best, both in culture fit and experience. We believe in tailor-fitting each role on our team with the right person, and that could be you! Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform research and monitor up and coming social media platforms, current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Collaborate with Marketing, and Operations departments to ensure brand consistency.
  • Create and schedule relevant content for all brands, and ensure a consistent voice/brand
  • Respond and engage with followers on all social media platforms.
  • Introduce and implement strategies for increasing brand awareness and post engagement across all social media platforms.
  • Oversee design and strategy of social media accounts
  • Implement a content calendar to manage social media content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
  • Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social media advertising.
  • Provide short and long-term market forecasts and reports through conducting market research, analysis and interpretation of market data.
  • Review success of marketing campaigns and develop ways to improve.
  • Scheduling and organizing photo and video shoots.
  • Being onsite at all brand events.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a social media coordinator and hands-on experience in content management
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) - photo and video editing skills may be required
  • BCom or BBA degree in Marketing or another related field ie Social Media or Communications degree/diploma/certification with work experience
  • Photography and Videography experience required
  • Familiar with the Meta Business Suite
  • Familiar with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and other platforms/trending platforms if necessary
  • Experience with platforms such as Sprout and Hootsuite considered an asset
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Experience developing and working with a marketing plan
  • Ability to explain complex social media data in an understandable way
  • Experience identifying and creating campaigns for a target audience
  • Will need to be onsite for all brand events for content purposes and comfortable interacting with guests, staff and vendors
  • Attention to detail and copywriting and editing skills
  • Work collaboratively with our design team
  • Problem solving skills
