Job Description

NB Benny's Contracting Ltd. is currently seeking an EXPERIENCED Lead Hand Snow Removal Driver & Labourer for the 2025/2026 snow removal season.

All job sites are located in Edmonton and area. Candidates must have the following:

At least a Class 5 driver's license with a clean drivers abstract At least Experience with driving truck and trailer Experience with snow removal including manual shovelling and operating a snow blower

Responsibilities

Operate snow removal equipment safely and efficiently (Back pack blowers, sweepers, shovels, ice chippers). Driving snow crew(s) from site to site Supervising snow crews Sanding parking lots Clear snow, chip ice and apply ice-melt from driveways and sidewalks. Monitor jobsites in between and after snow fall Monitor weather conditions to determine snow removal needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery. Maintain clear and accurate records of services performed using company app (Sitedocs). Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Provide excellent customer service during interactions.

Qualifications

Proven experience in snow removal or related field (At least 1 year experience is required) At least 2 years of Supervisory experience is a required. Ability to safely operate back pack blowers and sweepers Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices is required. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
